FreeNSale’s Role

FreeNSale is a platform that connects buyers and sellers — we are not a party to any transaction. All chats, meetups, payments, and agreements happen directly between users. We are not responsible for the conduct of any buyer or seller, the condition or legality of items listed, or the outcome of any transaction.

Meeting in Person Safely

• Meet in a public, well-lit place whenever possible — many local police stations offer safe exchange zones
• Bring a friend or family member along, especially for higher-value items
• Let someone know where you’re going and when you expect to be back
• Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it’s okay to cancel or reschedule
• Avoid sharing your home address with strangers when a public meetup will do

Before You Buy

• Inspect the item in person before paying whenever possible
• Ask questions about condition, age, and any defects before you commit
• Be cautious of prices that seem too good to be true
• Prefer secure, traceable payment methods over untraceable ones like wire transfers or gift cards

Before You Sell

• Describe items accurately and disclose known defects
• Confirm payment has actually cleared before handing over an item
• Be wary of buyers who overpay and ask for a refund of the difference
• Never share sensitive personal or financial information through chat

Protecting Your Personal Information

Keep communication within FreeNSale’s messaging system when possible, and avoid sharing financial account details, passwords, or government ID numbers with other users.

Report a Concern

If you encounter a suspicious listing, a scam attempt, or behavior that violates our guidelines, please report it to info@freensale.com or through the feedback form. If you believe you’re in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.
